Dexter is owned by DexKo Global, which was formed in 2015 by combining Dexter, which operates in North America, and AL-KO Vehicle Technology, based in Europe. The merger of these two companies created a global leader providing highly engineered trailer running gear components and systems, with over 130 years of combined experience in trailer and caravan componentry. DexKo delivers market leadership in product development and innovation, exceptional customer service, and efficiency through global sourcing.

Dexter is the premier supplier of axles, brakes, doors, venting products, and related components in the utility trailer, RV, heavy duty, recreational boating, and manufactured housing markets. Dexter was founded in Elkhart, Indiana by Leonard Dexter in 1960. More than six decades later, Dexter is recognized as a progressive industry leader with nationwide availability and an international distribution network.

Kodiak Trailer is a leading manufacturer of trailer disc brakes for light and medium-duty axles to various end markets. In January of 2018, Kodiak became a part of the Dexter family of products.

The Expediter is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. They are a premier source for wholesale trailer parts, braking systems, towing solutions, suspensions, and trailer electrical parts. The Expediter has been supplying dealers, wholesale and OEM customers with quality trailer parts since 1979, with a particularly strong presence in Utility, Industrial, RV, and Boat Trailer replacement parts.

Since 1953, Silent Drive has served the specialty heavy-duty suspension market, offering air suspensions for liftable tags and pushers, drive axle suspensions, as well as primary and auxiliary lift axles on trailers. Silent Drive is known as an innovative leader in the specialty heavy-duty suspension industry, serving customers in the United States and Canada. Silent Drive joined the Dexter product family in January 2020.

Progress is a leading manufacturer of high-quality, custom-engineered, safety-critical towing and trailering products, such as integrated sway control and weight distribution hitches. Progress’ well-known brand names Equal-i-zer^® Hitch and Fastway^® Trailer Products are sold through an extensive dealer network in North America. For over 75 years, Progress has been focused on designing and making award-winning towing products such as hitches, ball mounts, wheel chocks, and other trailer accessories that keep travelers safe on the road.

HiSpec Wheel & Tire Inc. designs and provides aluminum and steel wheels, tires, and related accessories to the RV, trailer, and transportation industries. Superior engineering is the driving force behind HiSpec. Established in 1995, HiSpec has earned a reputation for offering the safest and most innovative wheel & tire assemblies in the industry.

Premium Supply has specialized in custom trailer hoists, hydraulic kits, pumps, controls, and accessories for over 25 years. The Company has distributed these quality products and kits to the tilt, dump, and utility trailer markets from a warehousing and kitting facility in Greenville, TX.

Since 1972, Marius Garon has supplied trailer parts and accessories in Canada. As a leading distributor, Marius Garon has developed a reputation as a trusted name in trailer parts servicing dealers, retailers, and repair shops coast to coast in Canada. 

Wholesale Trailer Supply supports Northern America's OEMs, parts stores, and service centers, offering top-brand trailer components. Servicing the marine, RV, commercial, and specialty markets, Wholesale Trailer Supply offers light duty trailer towing parts and accessories. Wholesale Trailer Supply joined the Dexter family in October 2022.

Established in 1976, Cerka specializes in manufacturing trailer axles and distributing trailer components to dealers and OEMs across Canada. Today, Cerka operates out of Milton, Ontario, where they manufacture trailer components. Cerka joined the Dexter family in January 2024.

Established in 1956, City Spring & Axle Ltd. specializes in distributor of truck & trailer parts, axle and spring manufacturing, and also offers service for trucks & trailers across Western Canada. City Spring operates out of locations in Edmonton, AB, Calgary, AB, Langley, BC, and Regina, SK. In March 2024, City Spring joined the Dexter family.
