Dexter, the premier supplier and manufacturer of axles, doors, venting products and related components in the utility trailer, boat trailer, recreational vehicle, heavy duty and manufactured housing markets, has an opportunity for a Production Supervisor in our El Reno, OK facility, located near Weatherford, OK, Kingfisher, OK, Yukon, OK, Oklahoma City, OK, and Chickasha, OK.

The Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction to hourly manufacturing associates including overseeing production, materials, equipment and tooling to ensure efficiency is maintained and projects remain on schedule. This includes coordination of activities related to the company’s quality, safety, and production, including responsibility for financial performance of the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accomplishing manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintaining staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures, and participating in plant safety, health and environmental programs.
Completing production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Supporting the development and deployment of the Dexter Operating System (DOS)
Ensuring quality procedures are followed and achieving 100% on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
Performing other tasks, duties or special projects as directed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises hourly production associates. Supervisory responsibilities must be carried out in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training direct reports; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance yearly; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements
Position requires an Associate’s degree and at least 6 year of supervisory experience in the industry. An equivalent in combination of education and experience will be considered. Must be able to work any shift.
