JOB DESCRIPTION
The Production Planner will be responsible for managing production schedules, coordinating material requirements, and optimizing the use of resources to meet production standards and schedules. This role involves estimating and scheduling human resources, tools, and equipment, as well as researching and recommending changes to enhance production capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production Scheduling: Plan and control production schedules to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials.
- Material Coordination: Coordinate with material requirements to maintain a steady supply of necessary materials.
- Resource Estimation: Estimate and schedule the human resources, tools, and equipment needed for the production process.
- Process Improvement: Research, evaluate, and recommend changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance the organization’s production capabilities.
- ERP Administration: Manage and maintain ERP software to streamline production planning and control.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of related experience in manufacturing
- Practical knowledge of ERP systems and production planning processes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
